Uncle George's Fish Net Grill, Barbados

In the town of Oistins, Barbados they have a fish fry every Friday and Saturday where the locals and visitors all get together to eat, shop, and party.There are a lot of food stands and locals trying to get you to eat at their stand but my favorite is Uncle George's Fish Net Grill. It's the only place that grills their fish instead of frying it. We started off with a local beer, Banks. It's a lager that's extremely refreshing in the Caribbean heat.

I ordered the King fish. It came with a grilled potato, salad, and homemade tarter sauce. Everything was seasoned just right with salt to bring out the natural flavors of each item.

I also ordered the macaroni pie. It's like mac and cheese but with a kick. There was either habanero or jalapeno or both because it was quite spicy. I think I found my new favorite version of mac and cheese, SPICY!
